Originally recorded in 1995 and updated in 1997, NFL was one of the joints that solidified my name among the elite writers of Chicago hip hop in the 90s. If you listen closely you can hear Chicago legend, Gravity (aka Grav) on the background vocals during the hooks. Diodato laid the fundamental track and the updated version saw JP Schmedrick add a few bells & whistles. Recorded at the infamous Monkeyhouse studios, this song brings back a lot of memories...and the wordplay still stands today.
